As per the direction of Dharmadhikari Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project started supplying drinking water in the districts which are facing severe drought including Belagaum, Gulbharga, Bidar, Bijapur and Yadagiri. The details are as follows:

According to the statistics, water is being supplied to 196 villages of six districts of the state. More than 1,58,150 families are getting benefit out of this.
The selection of villages is being done, considering the villages already selected by the government or other organisations, the amount of water being supplied and need of water.
SKDRDP Executive Director Dr L H Manjunath thanked Dr D Veerendra Heggade on behalf of villagers. He also congratulated all the staff who are cooperating to implement the programme. The programme would continue till May end.
