Revolution in the use of solar powered machines

Did you hear about solar powered Xerox machine? Manjavva of Kasambi village in Byadgi taluk actually runs a solar Xerox machine. The Jnanavikasa Sadhana awardee had one solar chili powder maker, but the villagers feel proud about her new innovation.

Not only Manjavva, but 31 members of various groups belonged to Chitradurga, Belgaum-1, Belgaum-2, Davanagere and Haveri districts of Dharwad region mooted the green fuel revolution with the use of solar power for machineries.

The members collected information through green fuel programmes and get Pragathinidhi through the groups to install solar machineries. With the solar machineries, their hardship is decreased and benefit is increased.

The solar power is being utilized for tailoring machines, Xerox machine, roti machine, photography and solar cook stoves. All of them benefited by the solar powered machines and they indirectly contribute for the protection of nature.
