Smt. Basavva resident of Hirebagewadi Taluk are 5 members in a family. Basavva and her husband both worked as laborers and it was difficult for them to manage the family with their little income. They have to look after 2 children and mother.

Through Sevaprathinidhi she joined Bhoomika Self-Help Group in 2011 and started saving money. After joining the group, She started saving money and started a small-scale business. At first, she got Rs. 10,000 Pragathinidhi to repair the house. Later took Rs. 30,000 Pragathinidhi to start a tea shop. Again took Rs. 1,00,000 Pragathinidhi to build new house.

She got motivation to do self-employment through information provided at Jnanavikasa center and took Rs. 2,00,000 Pragathinidhi and started sugarcane seedling nursery. At present she earns Rs. 10,000 per month. She expresses her happiness and says the reason for her financial development is by the blessings of Lord Shri Manjunatha Swamy, Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade and Matrushree Hemavathi V. Heggade.
