Under the guidance of Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade, SKDRDP is providing financial and technical assistance to the rural people for use of alternative fuel systems such as solar lamps, solar water-heater, cook stove, hydroelectric plant, solar livelihood units, biogas units etc.

The aim of the programme is to provide green energy systems to all rural people.

Implementation of alternative energy systems improved the life style of more than 10 lakh members.

Every year an average of about 2.20 lakh tonnes of carbon di-oxide emission have been reduced and about 8.94 million kilo watt electric is being produced.
