Smt. Suvarna Resident of Harsikatta, Siddapura taluk of Sirsi district is the member of self-help group since last six years and also the member of Divyajyothi Jnanavikasa center from the last one year.

She got information about self-employment from Jnanavikasa center and borrowed Rs.5 lakh under SIDBI loan and started vermicomposting unit.

Her husband is also joining hands with her. Now they have installed 25 tanks of compost units.

They are earning an average income of Rs. 80,000/- per month and living happily.

She wants to install more compost units in the coming days.

She says the reason for her improvement was possible because of SKDRDP and the information she got from the Jnanavikasa programme.
