Under the guidance of Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade, SKDRDP for the protection of environment has organized many programmes such as forestry farming by planting varieties of saplings and seeds in the forest, Shala vana, Pragathi vana, Devara kadu, Krishi kadu etc.

In the last 2 years, SKDRDP in collaboration with forest department conducted 4,332 programmes and planted 7.68 lakhs varieties of saplings.
