Under the guidance of Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade, to reduce the cost of cultivation and increase the yield, SKDRDP has started ‘Yanthra-SRI’ a mechanized paddy cultivation system for the farmers.

So far, a total of 2,46,723 farmers have been encouraged in the 76 taluks to completely mechanize the cultivation of around 52,361 acres of land.
