The symbolic launch of ‘Yanthrashri – Mechanised Paddy Cultivation’ to be implemented in 15,000 hectare area in the state during the year 2023-24 was held at Sri Manjununatha Swamy Kalabhavan, Belthangady.

Distribution of nursery trays to farmers:

Sri. T. Ramesh, Chief General Manager of NABARD-Karnataka Regional Office distributed the nursery tray to Sri. Honnappa Poojary, farmer as a symbol of centralized paddy nursery preparation.

 Release of pamplet regarding Yanthrashree programme :

Sri K.N. Janardhan, Managing Director of of SIRI Gramodyog Samsthe ® released a pamplet containing information about paddy cultivation.  Sri Jayaprakash Shetty, progressive farmer and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

The Yantrashri farmers were honoured for their achievements in the agricultural activities.

Sri. Sampath Samrajya, Trustee- SKDRDP, Chief Operating Officer Sri. Anil Kumar S.S., Joint Director of Agriculture Department, Dakshina Kannada district Dr. H. Kempe Gowda, District Development Manager Smt. Sangeetha S. Karta and Yantrashri farmers were present in the programme.
