Drug awareness programme was organized for SDMPU college students by NSS, Hindi and Sanskrit Department at Ratnatraya AV hall, SDMPU College, Ujire.

The Reginal Director of Janajagruthi Vedike Sri. Vivek Pais said, students must improve themselves in life study. They should turn their face towards positivity.  The drugs are poisonous and harmful to our body.  They should come out from the attraction of drugs.  Overall, we must build a healthy and drug free society.

The Principal Sri. Pramod Kumar said, youth should step towards development of a country and youth must come out from addiction of drugs and prepare themselves in achieving positive goals.

The wall magazine created by students about the effects of drugs was released by the Principal Sri. Pramod Kumar and regional Director of Janajagruthi Vedike Sri. Vivek Pais.

Sri. Nagaraj Bhandari, HOD-Hindi Dept., Dr. Prasanna Kumar Aithal, NSS Officer and HOD of Sanskrit Dept., Smt. Flevia Paul, Hindi lecturer, NSS Officer Smt. Padmashri Rakshith and students were present in the programme.
