Under the guidance of Matrushree Hemavathi V. Heggade, President of Jnanavikasa, Jnanavikasa programme was started with the intention empower women.
The 6 major programmes were organized under Jnanavikasa programme for skill development, talent showcase and empowerment of rural women.
The various programmes were organized to aware women such as, the health and cleanliness, harmony in family, nutrition, importance of education, use of Govt. facilities and self-employment, etc.
Total 6186 Jnanavikasa Centres were established across the state which includes 3,03,035 members and so far, total grants of Rs. 19.06 crores have been provided under Jnanavikasa programme.
