The Executive Director of SKDRDP Dr. L.H. Manjunath handed over the 100th Rejuvenated lake under Nammuru Namma Kere programme at Dandikere, Mysore.
This lake covers around 4.30 acres of land and will be helpful for more than 150 families in the village.
This project has costed total amount Rs. 7.48 lakh in which SKDRDP has given Rs. 4.48 lakh and villagers given Rs. 3 lakhs for transporting soils. The farmers took interest in taking away soils of 6366 tractors load. This lake will provide irrigation facility to about 450 acres of land of farmers.
Later, he participated in the Laxmi Pooja and inaugurated the new vendors SHG and distributed group documents to the members, scholarship to students and pension to destitute.
He then handed over the 30th Vatsalya House and U shape walker to beneficiary. And visited K.R. Nagara project office and gave guidance to the officials.
Then he handed over the DD amounting 2,00,000/- sanctioned from Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala to the Shri Mahaganapathi Temple Seva Trust® at B.M. Shri Nagar, Mysore.
