The District Director of Sirsi Sri. A. Babu Naik handed over the rejuvenated ‘Heggere Kere’ lake under ‘Nammuru Namma Kere’ programme at Husur village, Siddapura Taluk.

The MLA of Siddapura Sri. Bhimanna Naik released the nameboard of the lake and said that this lake rejuvenation programme of SKDRDP has become a model to the entire state. The President of Kere Samithi Sri. Narayana Naik presided over the programme.

The President of Gram Panchayat Smt. Mohini Naik, Tahsildar Sri. M. R. Kulkarni, Forest Officer Sri. Basavaraj, Ex-member of Gram Panchayat Vasanth Naik, members of Janajagruthi Vedike and Gram Panchayat, Project Officers and Villagers were present in the programme.
