The Governor of Karnataka Sri. Thawar Chand Gehlot honoured Dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade with the ‘Champions of Change Karnataka’ (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಯ ರೂವಾರಿ) award for his social services.

The award was presented by the Government of India recognized ‘Interactive Forum on Indian Economy (IFIE)’ Trust at an event organized in Bangalore.
