The President of SKDRDP Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade handed over the 610th rejuvenated lake under “Nammuru Namma Kere” programme at Keregodi village, Tiptur Taluk and said more than human, lakes are important to animals and birds. Everyone should give priority to save water sources. Currently we are facing drought seasons in many areas, but because of the rejuvenated lakes, the water stored in it are becoming useful for us. So, the kere programme was launched to save water sources and villagers support is necessary for this.
Guruparadeshi Kendra Swamiji said to give more importance for the protection of water and appreciated the Kere programme of SKDRDP. The Project Officers, Kere Committee members, SKDRDP staffs and villagers were present in the programme.
