The Shourya disaster management team in collaboration with Rangashiva Team and Yuvati Mandal had organized a cleaning campaign in the surroundings of Netravathi river and roads.

Poojya Heggadeji appreciated the volunteers and said that, “cleanliness is everyone’s duty. If we keep the nature clean, it will protect us. We should show love towards nature which provides us good air, good health and peaceful environment. Cleanliness process are very unique in other countries.”

The regional Director of Jana Jagruthi Vedike, Sri. Vivek V. Pais, gave directions to the volunteers on the guidance of Matrushree Hemavathi V. Heggade and Sri. Harshendra Kumar.

The Chief Operating Officer, Sri. Anil Kumar S.S., participated in the cleaning campaign, reviewed the programme and encouraged the volunteers.

The Regional Director of Udupi, Sri. Dugge Gowda, Shourya team volunteers, Temple Staffs, Project Officers and SKDRDP staffs were participated in the programme.
