On the occasion of “World Anti-Drug Day”, An awareness programme was organized by SKDRDP in collaboration with Janajagruthi Vedike at Gayanahalli village, Saligrama Taluk. The Project Officer, Sri. Umesh Poojary inaugurated the programme and gave information about the effects of tobacco on health and said to avoid it. The Village Head, Sri. Somashekar expressed his wish to create a drug free village. The Lecturer of PU College, Saligrama, Sri. Nagaraj gave information about the causes of tobacco on society.
