Smt. Roopa is a member of self-help group who lives in a Kataganahalli village of Madhugiri Taluk. Her child is facing a Kidney problem and they already spent Rs. 3 lakh for the treatment. By identifying their needs, the Project Officer of Madhugiri Sri. Dinesh Kumar handed over the critical illness fund of Rs. 25,000 sanctioned from SKDRDP to Smt. Roopa.

SKDRDP provides assistance to the SHG members when the member or their family faces health issues. So far, SKDRDP has provided total grants of Rs. 4 lakh to the 29 member of Taluk.
