De-Addiction Camp At Pathapalya Hobli Of Bagepalli

The 1924th de-addiction camp was inaugurated on May 19, 2025, at Ambati Smt. and Sri Ratnamshetti Kalyana Mantapa, located in the Pathapalya circle under the Bagepalli Project Office. The inauguration was led by distinguished guests including Honorable District Director Prashant , Project Officer Praveen M.S. , Pathapalya PSI Syed Anwar, and members of the De-addiction Camp Management Committee.
Following the inauguration, the Honorable District Director addressed the gathering, stating that Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project aims to make Karnataka a addiction-free state. He highlighted that the 1924th de-addiction camp was organized in Pathapalya hobli due to its central location within the taluk.
He further elaborated that 1923 de-addiction camps have been successfully conducted so far across various taluks in the state. Each camp sees a participation of at least 50 individuals, and these camps have a remarkable success rate, with 90% of participants quitting alcohol and leading respectful, healthy lives in society. He mentioned that a similar camp was organized in their taluk four years prior. During the camp, participants will engage in various activities including daily exercise, shramadana, daily informational sessions, experience sharing by the members, expert talks from resource persons, group activities, cultural programs, and bhajan sessions.
