Tobacco awareness program, organized in partnership with the Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project and the Akhila Karnataka Janajagruthi Vedike, at Vandse Zone of Kundapura Taluk, was held on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day. The event took place at Atradi Vijaya Makkala Koota English Medium School in Vandse village.

Shri Subramanya Shetty was the guest speaker for the program and provided information to the students. The event was attended by Shri V. K. Shivarama Shetty, a member of the Janajagruthi Vedike, Shashidhara Shetty, Vice-President of the Kendriya Okkuta, and Deepika Subhash, Headmistress of the Vijaya Makkala Koota English Medium School.
