Swasthya Sankalpa” Program at Barkur National Pre-University College.

Swasthya Sankalpa program was organized at Barkur National Pre-University College in collaboration with Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, B.C. Trust (R.), Brahmavar Taluk.

The program was presided over by the school’s headmistress, Smt. Hemavathi. The program was inaugurated by Shri Raghavendra Rao, Vice President of Shri Manjunatheshwara Bhajana Parishat, Brahmavar Taluk, who also extended his best wishes for the event.

Shri Shashidhar Shetty, a teacher from Arse Government High School, served as the resource person. He spoke about how habits that start as hobbies can eventually turn into addictions. He emphasized that teenagers can only stay away from bad habits by making a firm resolve. He also explained that spiritual thinking plays a crucial role in controlling addictions and provided information on how to be attracted to such thoughts. He created awareness about the harmful effects of bad habits on one’s health, family, and society.

Seva Pratinidhi Rekha welcomed the guests, and Training Supervisor Suresh delivered the vote of thanks. The program was anchored by Barkur Zonal Supervisor Ravindra S.
