The valedictory ceremony of the “Swastya Sankalpa” program for the Vittla Taluk was held at Pre-University College in Vittal.

Shri Vivek Vincent Pais, Regional Director of Janajagruti, was the keynote speaker. He expressed concern over the increasing number of students falling prey to addictions. He explained the reasons behind this and provided guidance on how to stay away from addictions.

The program was presided over by Shri Muliya Thirmaleshwara Bhat, President of Vittala Education Trust. Also present on the dais were Kaiyur Shri Narayana Bhat and Shri Balakrishna Alva, former Presidents of Bantwal Taluk Janajagruti; Shri Suresh Gowda, Project Officer of SKDRDP Annappa Shasthara, the acting Principal of the college; and Smt. Renuka Kaniyur.The program was compered by Jagadish Poojari, the Zonal Supervisor. The Zonal Seva Prathinidhi and disaster management members assisted in the event. The vote of thanks was delivered by lecturer Smt. Savitha.
