A significant initiative to deliver crucial services—including central government schemes and other facilities—under the prestigious Common Service Center (CSC) Scheme was launched through the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) in the state.

The DIGI Pay service, which is one such project under this initiative, was inaugurated at the CSC center in the Chara Zone.

The inauguration took place in the presence of Shri Krishna Shetty President of the District Janajagruthi Vedike, Smt.Leelavathi Project Officer, Shashikala Chara Panchayat Member.The Common Service Center program’s biggest offering is the banking service facility. Through DIGI Pay, villagers can visit the CSC Digital Service Centers in their own village to avail basic banking services such as: Depositing money into their account,Transferring money from their account, Checking their account balance.
