The Bhajana Kammatotsava Programme held at Shri Manjunatheshwara Bhajana Mandira, Manjushree Nagara, Melanthabettu. It was organized under the guidance and blessings of Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji by the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project BC Trust (R), Belthangady Taluk, in association with the Bhajana Kammatotsava Committee (Melanthabettu), and the active support of the villagers.
On this occassion Shri Harish Poonja Honorable MLA, Belthangady Constituency Speaking at the event, he stated that building organizations at the rural level and fostering a cultured life through the medium of Bhajans is truly commendable. He appreciated how the Bhajan movement is growing across the state with the support and cooperation of the Kshetra. Shri Anand Suvarna Regional Director, SKDRDP BC Trust, Udupi Regional Office, He highlighted that Bhajan is part of our foundational culture for building a values-based life while preserving the native heritage and traditions of our land. He expressed immense pride in how participants trained at the Shri Kshetra Bhajana Kammata have gone on to form various ritual dance-bhajan (Kunitha Bhajana) teams across the state, organizing programs with deep faith and devotion.
The grand cultural and spiritual event saw massive community engagement, with more than 500 ritual dance-bhajan performers (Kunitha Bhajakaru) representing 39 different teams actively participating in the programme
