The Swasthya Sankalpa Programme was organized by Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), B.C. Trust, Virajpet Taluk, Gonikoppal Zone, at Cauvery College, Gonikoppal.

Shri Ganesh, Janajagruthi Project Officer, Udupi Regional Division, was the resource person. He created awareness among students about the harmful effects of tobacco, cigarettes, gutkha, alcohol and drugs, highlighting the increased vulnerability of adolescents to substance abuse. He explained the objectives of the Swasthya Sankalpa Programme and the importance of preventing addiction among youth.

Shri Pramod Ganapathi, President of Gonikoppal Gram Panchayat, was the chief guest and conveyed his best wishes. The programme was attended by college faculty, Gram Panchayat representatives, SKDRDP staff and 120 students.
