A Free Health Check-Up Camp was organised under the Mahila Jnanavikasa Programme through the joint efforts of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project B.C. Trust (R.), Bajpe, Edapadavu Gram Panchayat, Triveni Sanjeevini Federation and Alva’s Homoeopathic Medical College, Mijar, Moodbidri. The camp was held at the Edapadavu Gram Panchayat meeting hall to promote health awareness and provide medical screening facilities to the community.
The programme was presided over by Sri Ismail, Second Division Assistant, Edapadavu Gram Panchayat. Sri Girish Kumar, Project Officer, SKDRDP, Bajpe, explained the various welfare and awareness initiatives conducted through the Jnanavikasa Programme. Dr. Deepak R. D., Dr. Yashpal K. and Dr. Sushikshita from Alva’s Homoeopathic Medical College, participated in the programme.
Health screenings for blood pressure, diabetes and common ailments were conducted by the medical team. Smt. Pramila, Jnanavikasa Coordinator, compered the programme, Smt. Netravathi, Zonal Supervisor, welcomed the gathering, and Sri Gopal, Seva Pratinidhi, proposed the vote of thanks.
