SKDRDP Achieves ISO 27001 Upgrade

The Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) has received an upgrade to its ISO 27001 certification from NQA (National Quality Assurance), a London-based organization. Previously awarded ISO 27001-2013 in 2024, the certification has now been upgraded to ISO 27001-2022.The upgrade was granted after a detailed review of 38 rules and 90 out of 93 specific points.
The certificate was formally handed over to Shri D. Veerendra Heggade by Shri G.S. Bhargav at a ceremony held in the Amruta Varshini Auditorium at Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala.
This achievement marks SKDRDP as the first charitable trust in India to receive the ISO 27001-2022 certification. This certification is a witness to the project's world-class standards in critical areas such as the management of self-help groups, excellent quality technology, transparency in operations, accurate accounting, and strict adherence to regulations.
It's noteworthy that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has mandated all banks to obtain ISO 27001 accreditation to ensure transparency and accuracy in their transactions. SKDRDP, which facilitates banking services in villages through its self-help group system via business correspondents, voluntarily subjected itself to this rigorous audit to achieve this esteemed certification
