Laksha Deepotsava of Lord Manjunatha Swamy is held every year at Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala. Honorable Mrs. Smriti Irani, Minister of Women and Child Development, Government of India, inaugurated the 90th Sarva Dharma Conference this year. Also, the 90th Literacy Conference was inaugurated by the film director Sri. P. Sheshadri.
