A study tour was organized for the Shorapur Taluks SHG members at Jevargi Taluk, Yadgiri District. A total of 22 SHG members were participated in this study tour. The information was given about the poultry farming and preparation of bakery products.
A total of 101 members from Deshihalli, Itandahalli, Kerekodi, Gangammana Palya, Doddaralli, Chikkavalagamadi of Bangarpete Taluk were inspired by the various programmes of SKDRDP BC Trust® and joined to the Self Help Groups. By giving SHG documents these members were welcomed.

The Chief Operating Officer Sri. Anil Kumar S.S. inaugurated the new jnanavikasa centre, street vendors SHG and distribution of facilities to the beneficiaries at K.R. Nagar. Tailoring machines were distributed to the beneficiaries under self-employment programme. Later, participated in the Supervisors ‘progress review meeting’ held at K.R. Nagar and guided them.
Under the guidance of Rev. Shri. D. Veerendra Heggade, to create awareness against the effects of tobacco, Janajagruthi Vedike is organizing awareness programmes on May 31st ‘World No Tobacco Day’. In the current year, 435 awareness programmes were conducted 39,738 SHG members and students were participated.
The Executive Director of SKDRDP, Dr. L.H. Manjunath, inaugurated the training programme organized by National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) for MIS Project Officers, NRLM Supervisors and for Data Managers. Two days training programme was conducted to adopt the SHG data under NRLM LoKOS technology.
