SKDRDP 1932nd De-addiction Camp Concludes in Chikkamagaluru

The 1932nd de-addiction camp, organized by the SKDRDP began on June 3, 2025, in Chikkamagaluru. Its family day was successfully held on June 10, 2025, at the Joldala Community Hall. A total of 44 participants successfully overcame their addiction during this camp. This initiative marks a significant step towards their reintegration into family and society.

Key dignitaries highlighted the camp’s profound impact. Sri Vivek V. Payas, Regional Director, emphasized how it helps individuals rebuild lives, secure amenities, educate children, and maintain health. Social worker Smt. Pallavi C. T. Ravi noted the project’s role in guiding countless families from “darkness to light,” fostering development and financial stability. Sri Prashant Chipragutti lauded the noble achievement of transforming lives, while Smt. Geeta B., Regional Director, encouraged Nava Jeevana Samithi to sustain their progress.

The camp’s success was a testament to collaborative efforts and wide community participation. Sri B.E. Nagesh Baiguru, Camp Management Committee Chairman, expressed gratitude for the collective support. The event saw many dignitaries, including Dr. Sri J.P. Krishna Gowda, and various local leaders, attend. The program was well-organized, with structured proceedings and broad attendance from community members, families, and service representatives, underscoring its significant positive reach.
