The “Nammuru Namma Kere” program, spearheaded by Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), handover of the Neralekere village lake to its local committee. Shri M.G. Srinivasamurthy, local representatives including Madhugiri’ Town Municipal Council President Shri Lalapete Manjunath, various Panchayat and Lake Committee members, and SKDRDP officials. During the program Shri M.G. Srinivasamurthy stated that the historical significance of lakes and the dire need for their restoration, emphasizing how these water bodies are crucial for agriculture, livestock, and meeting the community’s water needs, much like the lifelines they were for our ancestors.
On this occasion Shri Lalapete Manjunath, praised Honorable Dr. Veerendra Heggadeji’s’ social commitment, and also they noted the substantial financial support provided for lake preservation an initiative rarely undertaken by other  institutions. The program was attended by other delegates.
