An Anti-Drug Day celebration program was successfully organized jointly by Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, Athani, and Nisarga Education Academy’s Prarthana Pre-University College, Athani, at the auditorium of Prarthana Pre-University College in Athani.
The program was inaugurated by Smt. Nagarathna Hegde, District Director of Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, by watering a plant. In her introductory speech, she provided comprehensive information about the various programs of the project and the significant social work undertaken by the revered leaders.
Shri Murugesh Ingali, a counselor from the Government Public Hospital in Athani Taluk, attended the program as a resource person and addressed the gathering. they stated, “Today, youth across the world are becoming slaves to drugs, ruining their lives by not listening to their parents and guardians. This causes great trouble to society. Therefore, all young people should stay away from bad habits.”
The program was compered by Shri Ramesh Helavi, the  principal of college . Shri Rajagonda Chanagaudar delivered the welcome speech. The event was attended by Shri Sunil Jeeragala, the college’s administrative officer and other delegates
