Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project organized a program at Iggaluru Government Pre-University College on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day. The program aimed to educate children about the adverse effects of substance abuse.
During the event, students were made aware of the serious consequences of substance abuse on health, society and personal life. They were encouraged to stay away from tobacco and other addictions and adopt a healthy lifestyle. The program was attended by Smt. Reshma S., Taluk Project Officer; Yogesh Chekkere, Taluk Education Coordinator; Shri Ramalingappa, college principal and faculty members of the college and service representatives.
