An addiction recovery camp was organized in the Hunasagi zone of Surapur taluk from July 25, 2025, to August 1, 2025. A total of 43 participants attended the camp and decided to quit drinking. The event was attended by Shri Chandrashekhar Dandina, President of the recovery camp; Shri Dinesh Pujari, Regional Director of the Kalaburagi region; Director Shri Vasanth Gowda B; the Taluk Planning Officer; the Taluk Supervisor; and local dignitaries and community leaders.
