A mass Varalakshmi Puja program was held at the Hooli Sambainavar Math in the Saundatti taluk. His Holiness Sri Umeshwara Shivacharya Mahaswamiji of Hooli Sambainavar Math gave a blessing. The program was presided over by Smt. Sangamma Thoragal, President of the Hooli Gram Panchayat. Sri Subraya Nayak, the Taluk Project Officer, was the chief guest and provided information about the scheme’s programs and banking transactions. Sri Shekarayya Hiremath gave a religious discourse. Sri Subhash Hanasi, President of the District Janajagruthi Vedike, Smt. Sumitra Manikatti, President of the Committee, Sri Gurunath Chikkaraddi, and all the officials of the committee were present at the program. Approval letters for the Sujnananidhi scholarship were distributed to 13 students of the zone. More than 500 members of self-help groups participated in the puja.
