Under nammuru namma kere program 782nd plaque was unveiled in Balalingegowdanadoddi village, Jalamangala zone, Ramanagara taluk, and the lake was handed over. This was a collaborative effort involving the Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) (R.), the Gram Panchayat, the Lake Committee, and the local villagers.
The program was inaugurated by unveiling the plaque in the presence of several dignitaries such as Shri Jayakara Shetty, District Director, SKDRDP, Ramanagara. Shri Shivakumar, Secretary, Jalamangala Gram Panchayat. Shri Muralidhar A, Field Project Officer.Shri Rajanna, Member, District Jana Jagruti Vedike.Speaking at the event, District Director Shri Jayakara Shetty stated that under the “Nammuru Namma Kere” program, 1000 lakes have been desilted and developed across the state. He elaborated on the significance and benefits of this work and also spoke movingly about the 800-year history of Shri Kshetra, the four types of charity practiced by Revered , and the community development programs. Also present on the occasion were Ashwath, Zonal Supervisor; Vinod, Agricultural Supervisor; Eeramasthamma, Sevaprathinidhi; members, and villagers.
