On September 24, 2025, a meeting of Navajeevana Committee members and a ‘Sujnananidhi’ scholarship distribution program were held in Savadatti. Inaugurating the program, Taluk Health Officer Shri Shripad Sabnis said that the de-addiction camps conducted through the Dharmasthala project have enabled many families to lead peaceful lives, calling it a virtuous act. The chief guest, District Director Shri H.R. Lavakumar, spoke about the programs undertaken by the respected authority in the rural development project and the benefits they bring to society. Scholarship approval letters were distributed to 148 students from Savadatti Taluk for their professional and technical education, as beneficiaries are children of self-help group members of the institution. Certificates were also distributed to 45 beneficiaries who had quit drinking and are now leading a new life after attending the 1947th de-addiction camp.
