The inaugural program for the 2025 Swasthya Sankalpa Month-long Celebration for high school and college students, organized by Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP) BC Trust (Reg.), Kadaba Taluk, and Akhila Karnataka Janajagruthi Vedike Trust (Reg.), Kadaba Taluk, was held on August 18, 2025, at the Shree Ramakunjeswara Pre-University College auditorium in Ramakunja.
In his address, Shri Anil Kumar S.S., Chief Executive Officer of SKDRDP, stated that student life is the most crucial phase of a person’s life. He advised students to view this period as a “Golden Life,” where, in addition to academics, they learn the lessons of a well-mannered life. He emphasized that hard work during this golden period will shape a beautiful future, while wasting it on pleasure and entertainment will lead to lifelong regret. He wished that students avoid bad habits and addictions to become the best individuals in society.
The program was inaugurated by Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, former Member of Parliament for the Mangalore Lok Sabha constituency, who extended his best wishes for the students’ bright future.
Shri Nataraj Badami, the State Organizing President of Akhila Karnataka Janajagruthi Vedike, honored the winners of the essay and speech competitions held for students with a memento.
Those present on the dais included Shri Vasanth Kumar, Vice-Principal of Shree Ramakunjeswara Pre-University College; Shri Satish Bhat, Headmaster of the high school, Smt. Sucheta B, President of the Gram Panchayat, Ajeeth Kumar Paleri, member of the Kukke Subrahmanya Temple Administrative Committee, and Dinesh Medu, former President of the APMC.
More than five hundred students from Shree Ramakunjeswara High School and Pre-University College attended the program and benefited from it.
