Jnana Deepa teacher’s approval letter distribution program held at the Sirsi Project Office, Shri Dinesh M, the District Director of the Sirsi Division, spoke about the initiative to address the shortage of teachers in primary education. He mentioned that this year, guest teachers have been provided to 54 single-teacher rural schools in the district.
Shri Nagaraj Naik, the Chief Guest and Block Education Officer of Sirsi Taluk, advised the guest teachers to overcome any feelings of inferiority and to embrace the opportunity to educate children. He urged them to contribute to the children’s knowledge growth and to fulfill the objectives of the department and the organization. Later Smt. Gowri Nayak, Vice President of the District Janajagruthi Vedike, who presided over the event, said that the inspiration provided to women in society to dream of and achieve higher education for their children through the self-help groups of revered has gained immense importance. She added that the current provision of teachers to complement government programs is a boon, ensuring that the younger generation is not deprived of learning opportunities. She encouraged everyone to make the most of this initiative.
