The inauguration ceremony for the Chende training under the creative program of the Jnana Vikasa Women’s Program, organized by Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), B C Trust (R), Belthangady Taluk, was held at Shri Janardhana Swamy Temple.
Shri Sharath Krishna Padvetnaya, the administrative Muktesara (trustee) of Janardhana Swamy Temple, inaugurated the program. He extended his best wishes, stating that SKDRDP has undertaken several programs to empower women financially and socially, and hoped that the Chende training would help the women advance further.
Shri Yashodhara, the Project Officer of SKDRDP, spoke about the initiatives conducted through the Jnana Vikasa Women’s Program and expressed that the Chende training should impart both culture and tradition along with professionalism.
Smt. Pushpavathi, a member of the Taluk Janajagruthi Vedike mentioned that Mathrushree Hemavathi V Heggade has taken up various programs for women’s empowerment. She added that the Chende training is an excellent platform for the women of their village to progress and urged everyone to participate well in the training.
Shri Umesh provided information regarding the training schedule and adherence to rules. Prema, the Seva Prathinidhi welcomed the gathering, and Madhura Vasanth, the Jnana Vikasa Coordinator, compered the program and delivered the vote of thanks.
