Smt. Poornima, a resident of Chettena Halli village in Davanagere district, joined a Self-Help Group (SHG) under SKDRDP (Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project). The group currently has ten members. She received training in dairy farming, agriculture, and other self-employment ventures through the her group.
Initially, she started a rotti business. Later, in 2019, she established a sweet business, which her family now supports. In addition to the sweet business, she continues her dairy farming and agricultural activities.
Poornima has inspired many other women and leads a content life, thanks to the timely support from SKDRDP.
