A Taluk-level Women’s Seminar under the Mahila Jnanavikasa Programme was held at the Brahmin Community Hall, Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District. The programme was inaugurated by Shri Chinnappa Y. Chikkahagade, Shri Umar Habba, District Director, along with Shri Ravi Shastri, President of the Brahmin Community Hall, and the Municipal President by lighting the lamp.
Addressing the gathering, the District Director explained that the Mahila Jnanavikasa Programme was started exclusively for women to provide monthly awareness on health, family management, children’s education, and government schemes. Resource person Vishala Aradhya, writer and President of Allama Prakashana, spoke on the role of women in building a healthy society. Chief guest Shri Chinnappa highlighted women’s achievements across all fields and emphasized self-reliance and women’s role in law, health, education, and social development.
