In the Kanitahalli work area of Ajjavara Circle, Chikkaballapur Taluk, a valedictory ceremony was organized for the tailoring training program conducted over a period of three months. The program was inaugurated by the Honorable and Respected Director of Chikkaballapur District, Mr. Prashanth C. S., who addressed the gathering about the various programs designed for women under the Jnanavikasa initiative conceptualized by Mathrushree Hemavathi and emphasized that women should make proper use of these beneficial schemes. He also provided information about the various programs of the Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, the types of Pragathinidhi loans, applicable interest rates, and the BC programs, and extended his best wishes to all.
Speaking on the occasion, the Honorable Director of the Canara Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute,Shri Narayanaswamy, gave detailed information about the training programs conducted by the institute to support self-employment and explained the facilities available there. He encouraged spreading awareness about the training institute among unemployed youth and urged women to make effective use of the training opportunities.
Presiding over the program, Smt. Manjulamma expressed that there was a strong need for tailoring training for women in their village and conveyed her heartfelt gratitude to Mathrushree Hemavathi for providing this valuable opportunity.
The program was attended by tailoring instructor Mrs. Revathi, Canara Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute faculty member Shri Shashidhar, Jnanavikasa Coordinator Mrs. Bisilepakshi, SevaPrathinidhi Jayalakshmi, and other members.
