Under the Jnanavikasa Programme, a Taluk-level Women’s Seminar was held on Sunday, 21-12-2025, at the Anantharamani Stage, Devadiga Sabha Bhavan, Hebri. The programme was presided over by Shri Taranath Bangera, President, Hebri Gram Panchayat.

The event was inaugurated by Shri Ravi K. V., Police Sub-Inspector, Hebri Police Station, who shared important information on online fraud and the POCSO Act. Nine senior women were honored during the programme. Dr. Mamatha K. V., Senior Gynecologist, SDM College and Research Centre, Kuthpady, Udupi, attended as the resource person and provided valuable health-related guidance for women.

The programme was attended by Shri Vadiraj Shetty, President, Taluk Jagruti Vedike, Hebri; Dr. Rakesh R. N., Assistant Professor, SDM College and Research Centre, Kuthpady; and Mr. Shankar Devadiga, President, Devadiga Sabha Bhavan, Hebri. Members and coordinators from 25 Jnanavikasa centers of the taluk were also present.
