A Skill Development Training Program was conducted at the Sorab Project Office. The programme was inaugurated by Ms. Amrutha, Jnanavikasa Project Officer, who launched the saree edging (sirekucchu) stitching training and addressed the gathering.

She expressed that the time when women were confined only to household work has passed, and emphasized that it is a positive development that women are actively engaging themselves in all fields today.

Ms. Jayanti, Taluk Project Officer, provided detailed information about the Skill Development Training. The program was attended by trainer Vanita, District Knowledge Development Coordinator Mallika, Taluk Jnanavikasa Coordinator Prabhavathi, Agricultural Supervisor Jatta M, office bearers of the federation, and 32 interested women participants who took part in the training.
