SKDRDP Organizes Religious Program and Pension Letter Distribution in Kumta

Shri Satyanarayana Puja and Religious Awareness Program was organized today at Valagalli, under the Devagiri zone of the Kumta project office. The event was presided over by the Gram Panchayat President, Smt. Shanti R. Madivala.

The program was inaugurated by JDS leader Shri Suraj Naik Soni. During the event, a water bed (air bed) was distributed to Shri Babu Madivala, who has been bedridden due to illness. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Suraj Naik expressed high regard for the project’s humanitarian initiatives.

The Chief Guest of the evening was Shri Mahesh M.D., the District Director of SKDRDP BC Trust, Uttara Kannada. He handed over the pension sanction letter to the beneficiary, Smt. Madevi Gowda, and spoke about the significance of organizing religious and cultural programs within the project framework to foster community values.

Shri Ramachandra Madivala, a teacher at Guruprasad High School, delivered a religious discourse (Pravachana). The event was graced by several dignitaries, including Gram Panchayat Vice-President Shri Prakash Shanbhag, as well as Shri S.G. Bhat, Shri P.M. Mukri, and Shri R.G. Bhat.

Also in attendance were Kumta Taluk Project Officer Shri Kalmesh, Zonal Supervisor Smt. Saroja, all Seva pratinidhis of the zone, members of the Satyanarayana Puja Committee, Self-Help Group members, and local residents.
