Revered Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji and Smt. Hemavathi V. Heggade inaugurated the “First Response Training Programme” organized for volunteers of 91 taluk committees across Karnataka as part of the 6th Anniversary of the “Shourya” Disaster Management Programme of the Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP). They conveyed their best wishes to the Shourya volunteers.

As part of the programme, training was provided to 180 Emergency Response Team members from Dakshina Kannada district by the NDRF team from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Volunteers and committees that rendered exemplary service were recognized and felicitated during the event.
