Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), under its Swasthya Sankalpa programme, organized a historic statewide online awareness initiative in which nearly 1.31 lakh students from 1,281 schools and colleges across Karnataka participated simultaneously. On this occasion, revered Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade ji and Dr. Hemavathi V. Heggade delivered their blessings and guided the students on the harmful effects of tobacco and narcotic substances.
The programme also featured valuable sessions by SKDRDP’s Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Venkatesh Prasanna, along with resource persons including the Additional Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru City, and renowned cardiologist Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty. They educated the students about the ill effects of tobacco and substance abuse and encouraged them to lead healthy, addiction-free lives.
