Under the Jnanavikasa Programme of SKDRDP, Udupi Taluk, a study tour to various government departments was organized for women participants. At the Udupi Women Police Station, Police Inspector Shri Raghavendra explained legal provisions for the safety of women and children and highlighted precautionary measures against crime. Officials from the Fire and Emergency Services Department demonstrated fire safety and emergency response procedures. At the Tejaswi Home Products Self-Employment Unit, Smt, Hema spoke about self-employment opportunities for women, while Counsellor Reena from the Sakhi One Stop Centre explained the support services available for women and children facing domestic and social issues.
