Sagaranadu High School in Peth-Ammapura of Surapur Taluk, celebrated World Environment Day.
The program was inaugurated by the school’s headmaster, Shri Iranna, along with Shri Mounesh, the headmaster of the primary school, and Nagesh, the Taluk Field Project Officer of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, by watering a sapling.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Nagesh emphasized that environmental protection is everyone’s responsibility. He stated that it is our duty to not only plant trees but also to nurture and protect them. He also provided information about the project’s various initiatives. Iranna, the school’s headmaster, educated the children on environmental conservation awareness.
The event was attended by all school teachers, zonal supervisors, agricultural supervisors, service representatives, CSC service providers, and school children.
