A program on environmental awareness was organized by Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, B.C. Trust (R.) T. Narasipura, at the Government High School in Karoti. The school’s headmaster, Shri Linganna presided over the event, which was inaugurated by watering a sapling by the dignitaries on the stage.
Krishi Supervisor Shri Shivashankar elaborated on the various village development programs organized by Shri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project, such as Vatsalya, Janamangala, and many others. Shri Ganesh stated, “Grow plants, save the land. It is everyone’s responsibility to protect the environment. Human-made activities are destroying the environment, and we must develop a system to prevent this.”
Shri Linganna emphasized that “Green is the breath of the earth.” He explained that if the use of chemical fertilizers and excessive plastics is not controlled, it will be very difficult for human life to survive in the future. He also spoke about environmental protection.
